My Favorite Eco-friendly Follows

Social media is where I look for inspiration and simultaneous feel inferior and drained. Some brands have accounts that are super minimal or out of touch with what a regular person can do to be sustainable in every day life. This is my current list of ladies I follow who are informative, uplifting, and fun to watch and learn from.

Jules Acree

@julesacree

I’ve been following Jules (previously @omandthecity) for years. She is my go-to feel-good online personality. I love her productivity hacks, intentional living guides, and tbh, following her feels so joyous. I also had a fangirl moment where I was able to interview her about her shop The Homebodies!

Madeleine Darya Alizadeh

@dariadaria

Maddie is my glam-follow. She owns a sustainable fashion brand in Europe, loves her pup Mala, shares plenty of slow fashion info, and wears a monochrome outfit like no other.

Gittemary Johansen

@gittemary

If you ever wonder what the real impact of something is, watch her Impact Series videos on Youtube. She is a thrift queen and maximalist, which is a refreshing follow in the (forced?) world of sustainable minimalism.

I watch Shelby’s videos when I want to know what’s what: greenwashing, scams, fresh alternatives, plus-size clothing, recycling info… you get it!
